DA: Perkiomen man fatally struck girlfriend with hammer

Troopers arrived on the scene in the 500 block of Gravel Pike and found a 34-year-old woman on the floor in an apartment with a fatal wound to the back of her head. A bloody hammer was recovered next to the body.
