BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres had their first home game last night and unfortunately came up short, losing 3-1 .

But in the post-game broadcast, a Storm Team 2 Meteorologist made it into the conversation.

Former Buffalo Sabre and NHL broadcaster Rob Ray, also known as Razor, got to go up onto the KeyBank Center's newly restored rooftop.

While up there he said, "Felt like that Sledgehammer guy on the news, that goes out on the roof and does the weather."

Other broadcasters laughed at Ray's comment saying "Sledgehammer??"

"Is that his name?" Ray asked following the laughter.
